DGFT organizes workshop on export awareness 10/15/2015 10:49:29 PM Early Times Reports Jammu Oct 15: Directorate General of Foreign Trade organized workshop to create Export Awareness dedicated for Steel Re-Rolling & Engineering Clusters of Jammu region today at Bari Brahmana in collaboration with Engineering Export Promotion Council of India. M.K.Nikhare, Dy.D.G Foreign Trade inaugurated the programme by briefing the audience about the role of Directorate General of Foreign Trade. Romesh Kumar Verma Asstt.D.G.F.T. and Opinder Singh Dy.Director EEPC India were the key speakers. Verma gave introduction of India's Export & Import Sector and gave a detail of top Export Destination countries. He presented an impressive picture of steel & engineering sector of India and its growth and linked it with the demand related to infrastructure and industrial production. Opinder apprised the participants how to start with export business by quoting examples explaining about Export & Import procedure, documentation, steps involved in International Trade in a very simple & effective manner.
