Jammu Oct 15: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in continuation to its serious stand on the issue of "No benefit on promotion to SC/ST and OBC as pronounced by the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir". The above said judgement is clear indication in spite of several amendments by Parliament of India vide various notifications the J&K Govt/Assembly never bothered to incorporate it in the reservation rules of J&K state. Party spokesperson K L Atri said that Bahujan Samaj Party has started conducting the awakening meeting in every nooks and corner of Jammu region for which Tarsem Lal Khullar along with R L Chargotra, R.K Bhagat, S.N Dogra, J.R Verma, R.K Thappa, Charanjit, Pritam Chand, A.S Motton, Deepak Rana, Pawan Gupta, B L Digra & K L Atri had an extensive tour of different assembly constituencies. The speakers disclosed that a great resentment is prevailing among the SC, ST & OBC and people are blaming the Congress, BJP, NC & PDP of conspiring a deep conspiracy to deprive underprivileged people of their constitutional rights. During a meeting Tarsem Khullar assured that BSP have always defended the cause of down trodden & now on this heartfelt event and parry has checked out a plan to fight tooth and nail to fight against discrimination mated out to them. They also urged to be ready for any circumstances and exhorted come to street to protect their cause. Quoting late Kanshi Ram Ji, the speakers said he rightly has stated that sufferer and co-sufferer should come together to fight oppressor. 'Now time has come to teach them lesson, they added. BSP leadership has appeal to the present Govt to convene special session of state legislative assembly to incorporate the required amendment in reservation rule of J&K. |
