Jammu, Oct 15 : on the second day of the workshop being organized for Mobile School teachers here at Govt. Woman College Prade, the participants experienced nature in the class room where they performed various activities on nature to experience the impact of these activities by using hands on experiments. The program is being organized by Vigyan Prasar, Deptt. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and NCURDS, on popularization of Science activities under ST Plan.
Today's program started with efficient manifestation by Javaid Alam and Zia Ahmed Khan Master Resource Persons from Patna and UP respectively who demonstrated various activities related to nature such as pooter (Ant catching), Antarium (Ant House), Sweep net (Butterfly Catcher), Earthworm home, Polyhouse.
Later the participants took keen interest and got themselves actively involved in preparing all the activities by their own hands. These self made equipments can be used to observe and catch different insects Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Chairman of the Program informed that tomorrow nature walk of living creatures will be organized enabling the participants to experience nature closely. |
