| Global Hand Washing Day celebrated at BSF School | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: 8th annual 'Global Hand Washing Day' was celebrated at BSF School here today to commemorate the significance of 'Global Hand Washing Day; within the school campus.
The purpose of hosting this event is to increase awareness and understanding of hand washing to prevent diseases for better child survival and health care.
According of official spokesperson, a painting competition was organized on this occasion to spread awareness among the students. During the occasion students were motivated to bring soap papers regularly with them. Live demonstrations of proper hand washing technique was done to help students learn and practice simple rules of washing hands.
Earlier speaking on the occasion principal Dr S K Shukla said "BSF School focuses on improving the health of its students clean drinking water facilities, toilets etc are provided to them to ensure hygiene promotion, life skill development and water, sanitation and hand washing facilities in school. |
