PHE daily wagers stage protest in Bhaderwah 10/16/2015 11:11:54 PM Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Oct 16: The daily wage workers of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department held a strong protest in Bhaderwah under the chairmanship of its district President Doda Mohd Sajad Ganai demanding regularization of their services. Eyewitnesses said that scores of workers assembled in the premises of PHE filter plant Gagal, Bhaderwah and started protesting. They gave a month ultimatum to the higher authorities to frame a proper policy for their regularization and threatened to stop the water supply to all the areas of erstwhile Doda district, if the demand was not met. The protesters were also demanding timely and regular payment of their wages and enhancement in rate of their daily wage. They alleged that despite assurance by the concerned minister and senior officers, their demands have not been addressed.
