 JAMMU, Oct 19 : Jammu district clinched the overall championship trophies in all the three age groups of under-14, under-17 and under-19 in annual inter district state level girls' competition held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Srinagar. The Jammu district contingent was accompanied by Physical Education Teacher (PET) and NIS qualified Judo coach, Varinder Sharma. Likewise girls, Jammu boys also dominated in Judo winning all the title trophies in the similar competition held at district Kathua. Now, the selected team out of the winners of different age groups shall represent the state in the National School Games to be held at New Delhi in the month of December. |
