AIBCU flays abolition of reservation in promotion 10/19/2015 10:22:02 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 19: All India Backward Class Union expressed their anguish against the Govt, particularly its alliance partner, BJP for disheartening the State OBCs by ignoring the word OBCs. The President of the Union Abdul Majid Malik said that Bali Bhagat Minister for Social Welfare must upkeep the promises made in the elections and respect the OBC high vote turn out in elections which enabled BJP to share power in the State. He further said that simply to tackle the issue erupted after High Court order will not suffice unless the right of 27% reservation for majority State population called OBCs forming about 60% of the state population are not granted. The matter was discussed in a meeting of the AIBCU in which participants strongly condemned the Social Welfare Minister for not enhancing the creaming layer from 4.5 lac to 6 lac which the Centre Govt. has enhanced about three years back besides non-fulfillment of other demands raised from time to time.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
