NSUI's protest enter 4th day

Jammu, Oct 19: National Student Union of India (NSUI) staged protest demonstration in favour of their demands which entered 4th consecutive day today. The protest led, by NSUI State President Neeraj Kundan and NSUI National Delegate Ajay Kumar was held in GCET Jammu, and was lathicharged by Police for no apparent reason and Ajay Kumar was arrested. The students shouted slogans in favour of numerous basic demands prominent of which is the complete restoration of supplementary system from 1st to 8th semester. Students lamented the absence of Supplementary system which hurts the careers of thousands of engineering students and prevents them from finishing their degrees on time. They demanded Ambulance and Healthcare, Comprehensive Placement, Uninterrupted Power supply, Permanent Ground, Gym, Fitness facilities, Functional library. They also said about the threats and mental torture that they are being subjected to by the College Higher Administration and vowed to raise the issue with State Human Rights Commission as this sort of mental torture is a gross violation of Human Right.
