Kishtwar, Oct 19: Showing faith in People's Democratic Party a BJP worker, joined PDP in in presence of senior leaders on Monday.
According to press release, Majid Ahmed Ganie son of Amdullah Ganie resident of Malipeth Kishtwar joined PDP in presence of various senior leaders of PDP unit Kishtwar. MLC Firdoos Tak, while welcoming the Majid Ganie to the party fold congratulated them on taking the decision to join PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed and Mehbooba.
He also extolled him to start working for spreading the message of the party leadership amongst the masses at grass roots level. He urged all the workers including new entrant to work with dedication. Majid Ahmed Ganie ,the new entrant made a firm resolve to gear up the party as its foot-soldiers and work for peace and harmonious growth of the society.
He reposed full faith in the leadership of PDP and pledged that the party programmes and policies will be taken to the people in all the corners of Kishtwar. He said that visionary agenda of PDP is the only practical and viable solution of all problems faced by the people of the state.
"Kishtwar district is witnessing an unprecedented reign of corruption, nepotism and political favoritism and it is a tragic reality that the representative has failed to address the grievances of people. Kishtwar has been converted into a shocking story of political vendetta," Nazir Shah, a senior leader, said.
