Bhaderwah, Oct 19: Under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah today donated furniture to Government Higher Secondary School, Bhalra under project Operation Sadhbhavana for the Financial Year 2015-16.
According to press release, Shadi Lal Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion, said that majority of population in Bhaderwah region resides in remote areas and is devoid of basic amenities and infrastructure.
"This project will be of immense help to the school authorities in imparting quality education to the students of this remote area. Approximately 350 students will be benefited from this Project", he said, adding that the noble efforts of Rashtriya Rifles in general area were immensely appreciated by one and all.
He further said that these kind of initiatives by the Army are always welcome as they help people of such far flung areas to relate themselves with main stream activities. |
