JAMMU, Oct 21: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Employees Welfare Committee today submitted a request with the Jammu based Standing Committee members of the State Sports Council for projecting their long pending demand of pension.
These members are due to attend the meeting of the Standing Committee fixed for October 27 at Srinagar under the chairmanship of Minister for Sports, Imran Raza Ansari.
The request letter, addressed to the Secretary, State Sports Council, Javid Shah was handed over Joint Secretary (Jammu), Shiv Kumar Sharma in the presence of other members.
Signed by around 100 employees from different sections of the Sports Council, the letter gave sufficient reasons for acceptance of the pension demand.
Among those present were Ashok Singh, Satish Gupta, SP Singh, Krupali Singh, Naveen Sharma, Mohd Iqbal and Joginder Kumar. |
