| People suffer lot due to incomplete drainage project | | | Neeraj Sharma

Sunderbani, Oct 21: The people of Sunderbani these days are feeling the brunt of inconvenience caused by the incomplete projects left abandoned in and around the town.
Local blaming the concerned authorities lamented that a many of the developmental projects including the drainage project is left incomplete reasons better known to the authorities at the helms of affairs. Business community and locals resented that abandoned drainage work within the town has left people to bite the dust and offer them a rumble ride as the construction work of drainages started some three months ago yet has not completed.
"Due to incomplete digging work on road sides, not only locals have to face inconvenience but the business of the traders too is getting affected, said Naresh Kumar a trader.
Another trader alleged that the dugout work in main market at times result into accident and also in heated arguments among the drivers. The Convener BJSN Amit Sharma said that the authorities should direct workers to dig only that area on which they needs to be worked for and by the end of day the same stretch should be filled properly so that it shall not become an inconvenience to the people of the area. "But the things are being done in completely unprofessional manner and long stretches are dug out while little works is done leaving just death traps open in the market.
He also alleged it seems that local administration is just waiting for a big tragedy to happen. |
