Bhaderwah, Nov 8: Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University in collaboration with Iqbal Bazme-Adab Bhaderwah today organized a composite mushaira (symposium) at Bhaderwah Campus.
According to press release, the poets of Urdu ,Bhaderwahi and Kashmiri met on Sunday at a mushaira (symposium) in Bhaderwah campus to bring alive the beauty of the languages.
Not only poets from Bhaderwah and its surrounding areas participated in the event and presented their poetry before the audience, the poets from Bhaderwah who are associated with Iqbal Bazme-Adab brought alive the brilliance of Urdu, Bhaderwahi and Kashmiri poetry and captivated a large audience with their couplets and ghazals that spoke of love, peace, national integration and communal harmony.
Commenting on today's composite mushaira, Rector Bhaderwah campus Prof G M Bhat said that poets and writers are the eyes of the society, who play pivotal role in the development of languages. He urged them to use their pen to serve the society. |
