Literary cum book release function held 11/9/2015 1:01:32 AM Early Times Report Kathua Nov 8: A literary cum book release function was held at Government Higher Secondary School Boys Kathua under the banner of Markaz-e-Tasneef-o-Taleef Kathua and a literary organization. Arsh Sehbai international acclaimed poet of urdu was the chief guest while Dr Mushtaq Wani, renowned short story writer and eminent scholar of Urdu was the guest of honour on the occasion. Three books of Dr Karan Singh a literary scholar, poet and writer of Urdu were released on the occasion. Dr Karan Singh is the son of soil and at present working as lecturer Urdu at GHSS Boys Kathua. Three papers were also read on the new books written by Dr Karan Singh entitled Gulzar-e-Sukhan, OP Manav Saksiet aur Shairi and Dil Ke Khawab Adhure Se by Prof Yash Paul Sharma from Govt College for Women Kathua, Naresh Chander Nad and Dr Mushtaq Wani. In his address Chief Guest Arsh Sehbai congratulated the litereary organization of Kathua to organize such functions and also appreciated the literary contributions of Dr Karan Singh Karan in the field of Urdu literature and poetry. Prof Ram Murti Sharma and Prof Dhian Singh who were Special Guests on the occasion also addressed the gathering.
