Early Times Report Kishtwar Nov 8: District Industrial Centre (DIC) Kishtwar sanctioned the financial assistance of Rs. 2.71 Cr for unemployed youths of Kishtwar District under Prime Minister Employment Generation program (PMEGP).As per the details available with “Early Times”, a meeting of District level Task force committee (DLTFC) Kishtwar was convened by General Manager, DIC Kishtwar Arun Kumar Badyal under the Chairmanship of District Development commissioner, Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan, at DC Office Kishtwar for the selection of loan proposals under PMEGP for District Industries Centre (DIC) and KVIB Sector. After threadbare discussions out of fifty nine (59) loan proposals submitted by District Industries Centre Kishtwar, forty five (45) proposals amounting to Rs:- 230.00 lacs and another eleven (11) cases amounting to Rs. 41.00 Lacs pertaining to KVIB were approved and sanctioned by the said committee. DC Kishtwar in his address emphasized upon the bankers for the speedy disposal of these cases in banks, so that such unemployed youths shall not face any hindrances and would be able to establish their own income generating units in District Kishtwar, as these units are expected to generate employment opportunities for 182 Souls. He said that these units shall also provide a bridge in enhancing the socioeconomic and upliftment of people of District Kishtwar. The others, who attended the meeting including ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, Lead District Manager SBI , Cluster Head, J&K Bank, Executive Officer, KVIB Kishtwar, Principal ITI Kishtwar and other members of the District Task Force committee members.
