BLSSA organizes orientation training program 11/9/2015 1:03:17 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Nov 8: Block Lok Shiksha Samiti Assar in collaboration with Zonal Education Office Assar, Child Development & Rural Welfare Society today organized One Day Orientation Training Program of volunteer Teachers & Preraks of Girls Middle SchoolAssar in which more than 120 volunteer Teachers & Preraks participated. The aims & objectives of organising this program was to impart knowledge to the Volunteer Teachers & Preraks about functional literacy and numeracy to non-literates and non-numerate adults, besides enabling neo-literate adults to continue their learning beyond basic literacy and acquire equivalence to formal education system. The imparting of non and neo-literates relevant skill development program will help them to improve their earning and living conditions and also to promote a learning society by providing opportunities to neo-literate adults for life-long learning.BDO Assar Najeeb Latief who was the Chief Guest who, in his address, emphasized to work with zeal and zest for eradicating illiteracy from its root in block Assar, while raising the organizers to hold training programme.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
