Chenab Valley aspirants demand separate exam Centre | | | Early Times Report Ramban, Nov. 8: The Chenab Valley JK Service Selection Board aspirants including Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban Districts today held a strong protest against the JKSSB authorities demanding separate exam centre for Chenab Valley aspirants in any part of Chenab region. This demand has been necessitated due to sudden deferment of written examination for various posts scheduled to be held on today as such an announcement has created strong resentment amongst thousands of aspirants who came to Jammu all along from the far-flung areas of Chanab Valley for appearing in the written examination. Speaking on the occasion, one of the protestors Faizan Ali Tramboo criticized the JKSSB authorities urging upon the Government to establish separate examination centres so that the aspirants hailing from different remote areas of Chanab Valley could easily appear in the JKSSB written examination, adding further that JKSSB authorities have already wasted the time of the candidates in terms of issuing more than two admit cards with multiple mistakes besides failing to conduct examination well in time. The protestors also revealed that thousands of aspirants from different parts of Chenab region had reached Jammu few days ago to appear in the written examination and for the economically weak aspirants, it is very difficult to manage stay in Jammu for days together to appear in examination to appear in Jammu. The protestors threatened to launch a wide scale protest in every part of Chenab region in case JKSSB authorities fail to announce separate examination centre for them.
