DODA, Nov 23: Watal Association held a one day conference on the topic 'Save Reservation' in Dak Bungalow Thathri to mobilize the cadre for disseminating among the common masses the development against implementation of removing reservation in the country and the state.
The conference was organized under the chairmanship of its state president, Ashiq Ali Watal. The major issues discussed during the conference were reservation in recruitment under Rehbar-e-Taleem, Sehat and Zirat, Adhoc or temporary appointments, Anganwari workers, SPOs, NRHM and other state and central schemes funded by the government, failure of the government to implement special component plan within stipulated time, reservation in promotion in all departments, stoppage of tampering with SRO 110 of 2000 and correction in seniority list.
Ali demanded reservation under SC category for the Watal community. |
