JAMMU, Nov 23: Nabbing of a dreaded Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist from Bhatindi area, in the outskirts of Jammu city, has substantiated the reports that some colonies, outside the city, are turning into safe heavens for terrorists.
On Monday, on a specific information police arrested a dreaded terrorist Shabir Mohammad, who is a resident of Tral area of Kashmir, from Bhatindi. He was arrested from the residence of a former Sarpanch in whose home he was living as tenant.
Cops involved in the operation to nab Shabir Mohammad are tight-lipped about disclosures made by arrested terrorists but sources revealed that Shabir has told during initial interrogation that some colonies in the outskirts of Jammu have turned into safe havens for the terrorists. |
