JAMMU, Nov 23: Vindicating the popular belief that the Corporations of the state government have been used by the politicians and the bureaucrats to accommodate their relatives and blue eyed, son of former Managing Director of understaffed State Finance Corporation is enjoying his deputation at Power Development Corporation.
Interestingly, despite lapse his tenure, in PDC the influential Assistant General Manager is not joining his parent corporation, i.e SFC. Sources informed Early Times that under political patronage the above said employee has been enjoying benefits of deputation.
"Son of former Managing Director SFC was appointed in the Corporation (SFC) as Techno Economic Analyst (TEA) but within a month of confirmation of his service in the corporation in March 2013, the blue-eyed was sent on deputation to Power Development Corporation", documents available with Early Times read.
"The deputation of the employee to J&K PDC shall be for period of two years (March 2013- March 2015). His deputation to the PDC shall be governed under the standard terms and conditions of deputation contained in scheduled XVIII of J&K civil service regulations. During the period of his deputation to PDC", govt order number 470-GAD of 2013 read.
Though, the PDC in 2015 after complication period of his deputation asked the employee to report to his parent department, but his did not comply with order.
"Consequent upon completion of two years terms of deputation by the said employee, Assistant General Manager, he is hereby relieved from JKSPDC and is directed to report to J&K State Financial Corporation with immediate effect. The charge of post of Project Finance, earlier being held by him , shall be taken over by Assistant General Manager till further order", JKSPDC/ADM/335-40, issued by the corporation read.
But, showing thumb to reliving order issued by JKSPDC, under political patronage, the influential AGM refused to join his parent department.
Sources in SFC, the corporation can't revive, as the persons appointed for its revival preferred to save their future.
"Corporations have become bankrupt only due to corrupt practices of management of Corporations but every time the blame was put on employees that they are not working", an employee pleading anonymity said, adding that it was the faulty policies and interference of politicians in the Corporations, which have ruined it.
