AUF organizes awareness programme 11/24/2015 12:00:49 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23 : An awareness programme 'Police Ki Pathshala' was organized by the Amar Ujala Foundation in the premises of Shiksha Niketan, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu in order to aware the young generatio about the traffic rules and other social activities, under the supervision of Rajinder Shrivastav Chief editor of Amar Ujala Foundation. The students of class 11th and 12th participated with great zeal and zest in this programme. A.A Wani DIG Jammu Police was also present on the occasion and while speaking he emphasised on the indispensability of the observance of the traffic rules and focused on the knowledge of those provisions of law that are important for younger generation. He imparted practical tips about how to approach police in the event of any crisis to obtain help of the police.It was an impressive acquaintance with essential traffic rules and social activities required in day to day's life for the students. Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the School, appreciated the efforts of Amar Ujala foundation for initiating such an informative and educative programme. Rameshwar Mengi presented a vote of thanks and mementos as a token of love to the esteemed guests.
