KATRA, Nov 23 : The AIU Mains XI registered a fine 50 runs win against Trikuta XI in the ongoing inter-hostel cricket tournament, organised by sports department of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), at Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier, batting first, AIU set a target of 127 runs with Vikas and Aarush being top scorers with 30 and 32 runs in their respective accounts. In reply, Trikuta Hostel XI bowled out for 70 runs. Anurag made maximum 20 runs. From AIU, Shivam emerged as most successful bowler with four wickets. Meanwhile, both the teams as also the organising committee prayed for peace to the souls of those killed in helicopter crash at Katra. |
