Governor expresses grief over deaths 11/24/2015 12:07:35 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 23: Governor N.N. Vohra, Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has expressed shock and grief over the tragic helicopter crash in Katra in which Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims and a woman pilot was killed. In a condolence message the Governor has prayed for the peace to the departed souls and for strength to the bereaved families in their hour of grief. Earlier in the day, immediately after hearing about the crash, the Governor directed the CEO of the Shrine Board to rush to the site and make all necessary arrangements for medical examination and transportation of the dead bodies to the homes of those killed, after informing the DGCA to order an immediate enquiry. The Governor also directed the payment of immediate ex-gratia of Rs. 3 lakh to the next of kin of each of those killed.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
