Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 15: Rajouri police under the supervision of Rajeshwar Singh, SSP has initiated a drive against the absconders for further proceedings in the cases lodged in the various police stations and in such a drive police apprehended one absconder who was evading his arrest for last three years. According to police spokesperson, "following a specific input about the movement of one absconder, a police team led by inspector Chaman Gorkha, Station House Officer, Police Station Rajouri under the guidance of Hamid Chwdhry, DSP HQs conducted a raid in village Kotedhara." "The raid was conducted in the house of Mohd Yousif whose son namely Mohd Ishfaq was wanted by the police in case FIR No 169/2012 U/S 336/337/341 ( act of endangering life, causing hurt, wrongful restrain) 147/149 (guilty for rioting etc) RPC and arrested the wanted absconder." "A case stands registered in Rajouri Police Station in 2012 and since then the accused was evading his arrest, police said. |
