JKTWA demands change in school timings | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov. 23: The President of J&K Teachers Welfare Association, Jasmeet urged upon the Education Department for observing school timings in the rural and far-flung areas from 9 A.M to 3 instead of 10 A.M to 4 P.M. He said that the teachers serving in the rural and far -flung areas are face a lot of problems in the evening as they find a little or no time for their family and daily routine works while they come back from schools late in the evening. Citing an example, Jasmeet said that teachers serving in Chowki Choura, Khour, Pallanwalla and in other far-flung areas reach home in the late evening and find nearly no-time for their family and demanded that the timings for the rural areas schools should be from 9 AM to 3PM. He urged upon the Education Minister, Jenab Nayeem Akhter and M.O.S. Education to change the timings of the rural schools in the larger interests of teacher's community. |
