National integration week inaugurated in GDC Kathua 11/24/2015 12:41:47 AM Early Times Report Kathua, Nov 23: National Service Scheme units of Government Degree College (GDC), Kathua inaugurated a week long events on 'National Integration and Communal Harmony'. According to press release, the function was inaugurated by Principal of GDC, Prof. Nater Singh Raina. The inaugural ceremony started with the lightening of traditional lamp. Dr Ram Singh, NSS Programme officer presented the detailed schedule of various activities to be conducted during the week. Staff Secretary of the college and former NSS programme officer Prof. Sumanesh Singh presented his views on National Integration in the form of a poem. He also appreciated the enthusiasm of NSS volunteers have been working for the betterment of society. Senior college professor Dr. Tajinder Kour also appreciated the NSS Volunteers for their selfless service to the society.
