Eminent social activist Pahalgami donates books to GHSS 12/7/2015 9:58:27 PM Early Times Report Anantnag , Dec 7: Noted social activist, Mushtaq Pahalgami today donated a book bank to Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Sallar Pahal-gam. According school official, the donated Book bank includes supplementary material for the youths interested in qualifying the prestigious competitive examination (IAS) Indian administrative service besides state's top competitive examination (KAS) Kashmir Administrative service and other competitive examinations. Speaking on the occasion, Mushtaq Pahalgami stressed upon students to avail benefits from the book bank and help the society in eradicating the social evils and poverty "Our wish is to make this paradise a hub of intellectuals and literate people who can lead Kashmir society in brining a change on all fronts whether moral, economic or social." Pahalgami told the students He reaffirmed Himalayan Welfare organization will continue its efforts for promoting the education among the economically backward and educationally deprived masses in Pahalgam and its surroundings. Principal Government Higher secondary School Sallar, Mohd Amin Zargar commended Pahlagami and endorsed his efforts .
