doda, Dec 7 : Acting swiftly Doda police have recovered a missing girl just within less than 24 hrs after a missing report was filed on December 6 with the arrest of her abductor. According to police reports, family members of the girl, lodged a missing report with P/S Assar which was registered vide DDR No 11 dtd 06/12/2015 stating that the girl (16/17) went missing from her native village Barri Marmat since December 03. According Doda Police swung into action and activated the sources as well as enquired from the parents/relatives of missing girl. "It was hard efforts made by SHO P/S Assar, S/I Ravi Parihar under the close supervision of Nisar Ahmed, DySP DAR DPL Doda, the missing girl was recovered from village Karlah, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur, who was kidnapped by one Sanjeet Singh S/O Daya Ram R/O village Karlah, police said "The accused has been arrested and in this regard a case FIR No.28/2015 U/S 363 RPC stands registered at P/S Assar, police said adding, "however, the girl has been handed over to her parents after completing the codal formalities. Meanwhile further investigation of case is in progress. |
