Jammu, Dec 7 : Young and upcoming 11-year old, Soham Kamotra won the open chess tournament which was organised by Ace Chess Academy, here under the aegis of All J&K Chess Association.
Ravi Sharma of Kathua secured second place while Maxim Singh and Arushi Kotwal bagged third and fourth position respectively. Aakashdeep Singh Bhatia finished fifth. Head of the Department, Bio Sciences, Government Medical College (GMC), Dr AS Bhatia and vice president of the Association, Taranvir Singh Gujral distributed prizes among the winners.
Among others present were president of the Association, Atul Gupta and director of the Academy, Vijay Choudhary. |
