KC Gurukul Public School Paloura celebrates Annual Day 12/7/2015 11:27:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 7 : KC Gurukul Public School celebrated its Annual Day and prize distribution function with lot of gaiety and fun at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium University of Jammu. Kavinder Gupta, Honb'le Speaker J&K Assembly, graced the occassion as the Chief Guest and was given a cordial welcome by the school management ,staff and the students of the school. The distinguished Guest honour was Chander Prakash Ganga, Honb'le Minister of Commerce & Industries. The Cultural Bonanza "Sanskriti" was appreciated by one and all. All the participants were highly impressive .English play Julius Cesar enthralled the audience. Rajasthani dance made everyone spellbound with the nimble footed movements. The enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the participants of fusion of Aerobics & Classical Indian dance was beyond description . Children of Junior wing swayed to the foot tapping beats followed by Mera Juta Hai Japani that introduced the audience to the finer sense of rhythm , music that took the audience to everlasting impression of legendary "Raj Kapoor" ,where as Indian Freedom Struggle Opera mesmerized each heart . Meanwhile the dignitaries felicitated meritorious scholars who excelled in both scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas . Over all the cock trophy was bagged by Subash Chander Bose House for CCA/ sports Events. The Chief Guest in his speech praised the wonderful show put up by the school children and lauded each and every item. Overall it was a beautiful event that left everyone humming the music of performed items .Vote of thanks was given away by the Chairman of the school Mr. Arvind Mahajan.
