Evening of English plays at KCPS 12/7/2015 11:27:09 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 7 : Students of middle classes of KC Public School today staged two English Plays in front of invited parents at the Ram Chand Mahajan Open Air theatre under the aegis of Mandua theatre Club at 6 pm. Students of class 6F presented ' Gifta for A King' adapted from a short story in their course in English language. Class 8A students performed the famous court scene from Shakespeare's ' The Merchant of Venice' in modern dress. Sunita Bhagat, a senior media person from AIR Jammu graced the occasion as the Special Guest. Both the plays were well presented by the students and earned hearty ovation from the audience. Bhagat gave away participation certificates to the students and praised them for their historic talent. Acting as a Judge, sghe dec;lared Aryan narula, Sadhvi rajput and Kshitij Sangotra as best actors in the clas 6 play and Aarushi Sharma and Aryan Sharma in the class 8 play. She also commended the School for making theatre an integral part of curriculum for all classes and for providing the facility of an open air theratre for the purpose.
