Jammu, Dec 7: A woman was allegedly pushed down in the river Tawi by her husband, who is sepoy in Army, from Tawi Bridge, this evening. Police has registered a case in this regard.
"The woman has been identified as Anuradha wife of Balwant Raj Chhattisgarh, police said. Police said, "The incident took place when she along with her husband was going towards Bus stand and were crossing the Tawi Bridge."
"Woman when rescued by the police alleged that she was pushed by her husband after hitting on her head," they added. Later, police team shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for necessary medical treatment. Police has registered a case and started investigation in this regard. |
