Directors hails Minister for Health, people suffer

Jammu, Dec 29: As senior officials, under the Health Department of Jammu and Kashmir in Jammu province, are not available in their office these days and engaged with visits of Minister for Health and Medical Education Department, people, who visiting these offices from far flung areas facing huge inconvenience for official work from the departments reportedly. Reliable Sources in DHS Jammu informed that the Director, Deputy Director of DHS Jammu, Director Family Welfare, Director National Health Mission with others continuously accomplished Minister for Health for last three or four days. In the absence of the officials, the offices have become almost defunct with files piling up. "Many others who visiting continuously in the Director Health Services Jammu office for official work from far flung areas including Kishtwar, Doda, Poonch, Kathua and others and have been running from pillar to post for last few days to approve necessary documents, permission and other officials work but due to the non-availability of the Director even Deputy Director of DHS Jammu, they failed to complete their official work, "they stated.
They further said that they are waiting for returning back of senior officials since morning and return back in afternoon with sadly faces as Minister for Health has engaged Director and other with him for visiting one to another places.
Seeking anonymity, an employee of a hospital who continuously visiting Director Health Service for office work for last two days stated, "I am visiting the office for last two days but sadly the Director even Deputy Director have not been available in their offices and whenever ask to concerned officials of the Director office, they claimed that Director and Deputy director have gone with Minister for Health," he said and adding that further ask to them, when will they come back in the office, officials say as "Minister ke Sath hai kya pata kab tak aye ge" (they don't know when will come back as director and deputy director with Minister).
Director Health Services Jammu Dr Baljeet Singh Pathania could not be contacted for his comments.
