Vishwa Bharti holds Ganjoo Memorial Award ceremony

JAMMU, Dec 29 : Vishwa Bharati Public Higher Secondary School (VBPHSS) Akalpur, Morh organized SN Ganjoo Memorial Award Ceremony in the school auditorium here today. This prestigious award was launched by the Management Committee Members of Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Institution in the memory of founder member Som Nath Ganjoo and is given to the all-round best student of the year. A jamboree function was organized for the celebration of this specific ceremony. A.K. Bhat, President Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Institution was Chief-Guest for the day. All other members of the Managing Committee were present on the occasion. B.L. Saraf, Former Session Judge, K.K. Khosa, President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Rajroop Singh, Sarpanch Muthi, parents of the awardee and faculty members of other schools also made their presence on the occasion.
The first prize comprising of Rs. 5000 cash and a certificate of excellence was awarded to Himakshi Sharma. Certificate of excellence was also given to academic toppers namely Ankita Raina and Ayushi Saproo. Cultural items including dances and songs were presented by the students. Students, who excelled in the activities held during the year 2015-16 were also awarded by the members of management.
