Vicky XI Pathankot, Sabhi XI Hoshiarpur enter semi-final Police Martyr Memorial Inter-Club Cricket Championship 12/29/2015 11:55:15 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 29 : The 3rd and 4th Quarter final match of 6th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship were played at Sports Stadium here today. DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range Ashkoor Wani and SSP Kathua Neeva Jain along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion. 3rd quarter final was played between Shri Balaji Cricket Club (SBCC) Kurukhestra and Vicky XI Pathankot. The 4th quarter final was played between Minerva Acadamy Chandigarh and Sabhi XI Hoshiarpur. In the 3rd quarter final, SBCC Kurukhestra won the toss and choose to bat and set a target of 116 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Bunty, who scored 31 runs in just 21 balls was the top scorer with the help of 1 boundary and 2 sixes. Amrinder of Vicky XI Pathankot took 3 wickets by conceding 14 runs in 4 overs .Vicky XI Pathankot chased the target and won the match by 2 wickets. Sandeep who scored 45 runs in 37 balls with the help of 3 boundaries was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs 2500 and a trophy. In the 4th quarter final, Minerva Academy Chandigarh won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 101 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Kuldeep Huda scored 23 runs in 28 balls. Amit of Sabhi XI Hoshiarpur took 3 wickets by conceding 17 runs in 3 overs. Sabhi XI Hoshiarpur chased the target and won the match by 8 wickets. Pankaj who scored 43 in 43 balls with help of 5 boundaries and took 3 wickets was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs 2500 and a trophy.
