JAMMU, Dec 29 : Young boxer turned athlete, Aryaaveer Singh excelled in the recently held 13th State Athletics Championship held at BSF Stadium, here.
A student of BSF Senior Secondary School, Aryaaveer Singh contested in under-16 category and won gold in 1,000 meters race.
He also won silver in the State Cross Country meet and represented the state in the nationals.
He was appreciated by the chief guest in the valedictory function of the state meet, Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma.
The exceptional skills of Aryaaveer also lauded by Inspector General of BSF in November last. |
