JAMMU, Dec 29 : Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) is holding four-day selection trials, to pick up probable at the provincial level, at GGM Science College ground, here.
A good number of around 80 young footballers turned up to face the selection process under the guidance of adhoc committee members of District Football Association (DFA), Jammu.
"Out of these boys, around 20 footballers will be picked up for the joint selection trials with those selected boys from Kashmir Province," informed one of the members of the adhoc committee, Narinder Gupta.
"It is good to find a good number of boys turning up for the trials in under-19 category from Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts. This speaks louder about the growing interest in the game," said vice president of the JKFA, Surinder Singh Bunty.
