JAMMU, Dec 29 : The Secretary Tourism interacted with all the CEOs of the Tourism Development Authorities across the state to take stock of the ongoing works in tourism sector and stressed for speedy completion of the same.
The Secretary asked the CEOs to identify the land for developing new tourism related infrastructure under Prime Minister's reconstruction plan and annual tourism developmental programme. The Secretary instructed the CEOs to be strict on violators and encroachers and such people should never be allowed to raise any kind of structure on the encroached land. He further instructed the CEOs to use the delegated special magisterial and enforcement powers to assure the implementation of tourist trade act firmly and also ensure clean and sanitized tourist destination at their respective places .The meeting which lasted for three hours was attended by all CEOs, Director Tourism Kashmir, Director Tourism Jammu, Director SKICC, MD Cable Car , MD Golf Developmental Authority and other officials. |
