Acting swiftly Police arrests accused, recovers stolen 13 gms gold 12/30/2015 10:25:53 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 30: Police today claimed to have arrested one bag lifter and recovered 13 gms of gold and other valuables from his possession within hours of the complaint got registered. According to police spokesperson, one Zareen Akhter w/o Mohd Khoushal of Dodsanballa, lodged written report at Police Station Rajouri stating that some miscreant has stolen her bag containing 13 gms of gold and other miscellaneous items when she was busy in shopping at Bus Stand Rajouri. Accordingly police team led by I/C PP City S/I Mohd Fareed under the supervision of SHO P/S Rajouri Inspr Chaman Gorkha and DySP Hqrs Rajouri Hamid Choudhary on the direction of SSP Rajouri Rajeshwar Singh launched manhunt to nab the accused. "Acting on a tip off, the police team arrested the suspected accused identified as Ayas Choudhary s/o Mohd Sadiq of Choudhrynar and on his disclosure recovered 13 gms of gold. "A case under FIR No.666/2015 u/s 379 RPC has been registered against accused at Police Station Rajouri, police said. In a similar raid SHO P/S Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha under the supervision DySP Hqrs Rajouri Hamid Choudhary on the direction of SSP Rajouri Rajeshwar Singh conducted raid in the house of one Deepak Kumar of Kunjwani Jammu and made recovery of four JCB Tyres alongwith Rim, 160 liters of Hydraulic Oil, Tools kit and Tank cover worth Rs 3 Lakhs, which were stolen from a Petrol Pump Rajouri.
