JAMMU, Dec 30: A J&K minister's contractor brother is in discussion in the government offices here now a days. He enters the offices of officers and forces them to do his works, both genuine and ingenuine. But if any of them offers resistance citing legal hurdles, he browbeats them.
He is often seen moving around with at least half a dozen PSOs in government offices in the district to which he belongs to, according to official sources.
The PSOs were allotted to him after his brother became minister in the BJP-PDP government. In the name of his minister brother, he had taken several benefits from the district administration, sources said.
"He forces officers into doing his works. Most of them oblige him happily for the fear of being transferred," sources said.
He lives with his minister brother in their old house. |
