jammu, Dec 30: Dr. Rohit Sharma Jr. Scientist working in SKUAST-J got best research paper award in the National Workshop on Natural Resource Management for Climate Resilient Agriculture in Foothills of Lower Himalayas held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
The paper authored by Dr. Sharma, Dr. Daleep Kachroo, Dr. Vivak M. Arya and co workers dealt with the use of integrated nutrient management approach for better rice and wheat production system. The paper also showed that there is net buildup of organic carbon along with increase in nitrogen, phosphorus and potash content in soil with the use of integrated nutrient management approach. The conference was attended many renowned scientists from India. |
