PDP Kishtwar unit assails party ministers for ignoring workers | | | Early Times Report kishtwar, Dec 30: Assailing Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) ministers for ignoring Kishtwar District that has given a major dent to the aspirations of party workers who had voted for the party in the elections, the PDP District President Sheikh Nasir Hussain said that instead of visiting at the door steps of BJP ministers, the workers prefer that their party ministers should reach to them. Nasir was addressing the party workers' meeting at Dak Bungalow Kishtwar chaired by Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone, who happens to be the first minister visiting Kishtwar district after Mufti Sayeed took over the reign of state by forming alliance with the BJP. While addressing the party workers, Sheikh Nasir while hailing Agriculture Minister for showing his keenness in touring Kishtwar and ensuring a meeting with party workers said that party workers are demoralized the way party ministers ignore Kishtwar District in their tour itineraries added that though the government headed by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed is doing good in the state on all fronts including development, but the workers are keen to see their party ministers visiting them and listening to their grievances, beside the solution to their problems. "Though we are in coalition with BJP, but our party workers instead of preferring to visit BJP ministers want their ministers in Kishtwar which should be ensure by one and all in party" said Sheikh Nasir. Reacting to the demands and issues raised by the party workers with regard to Agriculture and allied sector, Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone said that the government is committed for enhancing the agriculture production in the state for which various steps had been taken by the government added that Kishtwar will be developed as "Rajma village" for which over 300 hector land has been identified by the Government. |
