| Udhampur migrants castigate Govt, KP leaders | | | Udhampur, Mar 5: Udhampur migrants on Saturday lashed out at the state government for not providing them the ration for the past three months.
A delegation of migrants while talking to Early Times said, "We used to get ration directly from the Centre and state had nothing to do with it. We don't fall under NFSA."
They said, "Just a few days are left for Maha Shivratri but till now no steps have been taken to provide us with the ration."
They castigated the self styled Kashmiri Pandit migrant leaders for "maintaining silence" over the issue. "They raise only irrelevant issues and are least bothered about the problems being faced by us," the delegation alleged.
They threatened to take to the streets if government failed to provide them with ration on time. |
