Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 8: The National Conference, which had suffered a historic defeat in the Assembly election, is now trying to create a fear-psychosis among Kashmir- Muslims- that if the Governor rule is prolonged than the state will be under the control of the RSS.
the NC leadership in its desperate bid to stall the PDP=-BJP government has now brought in the Governor's institution in the debate, which had never happened before.
The NC leader Devender Singh Rana said that the BJP is planning to appoint a RSS parcharak as the Governor. the NC in its desperate attempt has 'demeaned' the office of the Governor with its this statement.
The Governor's office is non-political and the person with any political leaning or ideology has to perform the work in a non-partisian manner according to the rules.
"Will the NC say that President house had always been occupied by the Congress people as it is the party which has ruled for the most part, Can the NC say it?" said a senior BJP leader.
The BJP has appointed Governor in many state in a manner the Congress has done in the past but neither of the State where they were appointed had said that BJP had imposed RSS parcharak on them.
"Why is that ever thing changes in the State when it comes to the BJP? Why the even name of this party is used to create fear in the state because its demographic profile is different from rest of the country ," said the BJP leader.
The BJP leader contesting the claim of the NC leader that even the present Governor NN Vohra has been allowed to continue by the BJP leadership especially PM Modi.
"The Central government can have appointed any other person but the fact that it allowed the Vohra to continue speaks about the concerns of the Central government. And Governor is a appointee of the Central government in any state and if the developmental pace has taken place its because the Centre wants it so," said the leader.
