| APS Kaluchak celebrates Annual Day, Prize Distribution ceremony | | |

Jammu, May 7: Army Public School, Kaluchak celebrated its annual prize distribution function today with great pomp and show at school premises. Brig. Arvind Yadav, Chairman Army Public School, Kaluchak was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The programme commenced with the lightning of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and the Principal, Hemlata Vishen. All the dignitaries were given warm welcome and honoured by presenting them with bouquet. On this occasion, students showcased their talent through various performances like Nukkad Natak, scintillating Sufi Qwali, Yoga performance, dance items, etc.
The English play stole the lime light and Kalbelia Dance was a thrilling visual treat. After the cultural fiesta the meritorious students who have excelled in their respective fields like academics and sports were felicitated by presenting mementos and certificates. The students of Scout and Guides Club who were recipients of Governor Award were also acknowledged and honoured on this occasion. Best teachers were also honoured for their dedication towards their profession.
In her address, Principal Hemlata Vishen applauded the students for their excellent performance. Brig. Arvind Yadav in his address congratulated the school for organizing a commendable function and expressed his delight on being part of this colourful and spectacular morning. In the end, Vice-Principal Pushpinder Kour presented the vote of thanks. Other dignitaries who were present on the occasion included Flt. Lt. Gobind Singh Rana (PVSM), Lt. Col. Prakhar Singh and Col. Dinesh Sharama (S.O. A.P.S Kaluchak) also graced the occasion. |
