Early Times Report
Jammu, May 7: Acting on an Early Times report regarding Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu administration had changed timings allegedly to facilitate blue eyed, administration of GMC&H Jammu has issued circular to change office timings from 8 AM to 2 PM.
An order copy which is in possession in Early Times that GMC&H Jammu issued order, it stated that in order to ensure the smooth functioning of this institution and administration as well as in the interest of public in general as well as patients in particular, it is hereby ordered that the office timing for Clinical and Non-clinical Departments along with supporting staff will be from 8 AM to 2 PM, whereas the office timing of the following Sections of this institution will be from 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM. wef.09-05-2016.
The Early Times reported that the timings of government departments in summer zone have been changed as 8AM to 2PM but the administration of the GMC&H has modified the government circular directing its staff to follow 9 AM to 3 PM timings in the hospitals. And also two separate groups in the GMCH and associated hospitals visited Principal office over the issue of timings but administration had failed to implement government order.
"It seems the administration had changed timings from 9 AM to 3 PM for the convenience of the blue eyed to allow them to maintain their morning clinics but other hand side Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu, Director Health Services Jammu and other health institutes were pursuing timings as per order issued by State Government, "it stated. |
