Jammu, May 7: Dogra Sadar Sabha observed "Save the Birds Day" on the onset of summer. This endavour of the Dogra Sadar Sabha has been appreciated by cross section of society, the main activity for saving the birds remains providing of earthen traditional pots to keep the water for birds on the roof tops and on the trees during the scorching heat of summer as the water sources are depleting day by day besides depletion of forests. Keeping in view this scenario, the Dogra Sadar Sabha under the chairmanship of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha has decided to observe the day as "Save the Birds Day" and"Conserve the Water". |
