Docs, Staff of 72 bpm hospital stage protest, demand pending salary | Felling angry, betrayed | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 3: Feeling angry and betrayed, the doctors and staff of a private hospital 27 bpm near Jammu Darbar Channi Himmat staged protest against the owners of the hospital -who allegedly threaten that hospital will hire new doctors and employees-and demanded pending salary of three months. Angry protesters including doctors and staff have been forced to come on roads. In Friday morning they assembled 72 bpm hospital and raised slogans for justice and if concern will fail to release their 3 months pending salary, they will take illegal help in this regard. Speaking on the occasion, they said Resident doctors, Nursing Staff, Medical Assistants, Pharmacists and even Nursing Orderly have not been paid their salary despite repeated request to higher authority including Chairman Sunil Sareen and Director Rahil Sareen. Whenever they tried to talk with higher authority, they refused to meet or have been claim that the salary will be deposited their account within days for last few months but nothing has been done to overcome the problems of the employees- who are worked hard to ensure quality healthcare to the patients. "Almost staff members of the hospital are married and also having children have been forced to take loans at interest to survive as well as feed their family and children too. We have no money to pay rent and school fee of the children and don't have single penny to come and perform, "they narrated during protest and appealed to the concern authority to look into the matter and take action in this regard. When contacted concern authority couldn't contacted despite repeated attempts. |
