PDP-BJP encouraging anti national and anti social forces for vested political gains: Dr Manohar
6/6/2016 10:58:59 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 6: Former minister and General Secretary PCC Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today criticized the decision taken and announcement made by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and her Ministerial colleagues during the assembly budget session in Srinagar on different issues and said that alliance partners the PDP and the BJP are encouraging anti national and anti social forces for their vested political interests.
"The promise made by the BJP leadership to the people of border districts of Jammu and Kashmir to provide 5 marlas plots on safer places is denied in totality by the CM Mehbooba in the floor of House but the Ministers including MLA's remains mute spectators on this crucial issue, Congress leader added.
"Besides this, Congress leader said that BJP remained mute spectator again on the floor of house when PDP rejected the proposal of land for Kashmiri migrant's colony as promised and proposed by BJP on number of occasions during elections.
"Why the sainik colony for ex-service men of Jammu and Kashmir is denied in Kashmir while ex-service men want it to be established in Ladakhs also, he asked the coalition allies.
"The soft approach of PDP and confused approach of BJP leads the state towards the militancy and encourage anti national elements to de stabilize the peace process initiated by the UPA government who succeeded in curbing the militancy during last ten years of Dr Manmohan Singh led UPA governments, he said.
Taking a dig upon soft policies towards insurgents, he apprehended that policy of government to rehabilitate the militants adopting Nepal route will further worsen situation which already is alarming due to the wrong policies of the NDA government in center and PDP-BJP in the state.
He also alleged that BJP succumbed to the pressure of PDP for non implementing of NEET in J&K which was highly appreciated decision of the Apex court of India to bring complete transparency in the all professional courses.
He also questioned that promises made by the Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh to withdraw services imposed on the heli tickets within forty eight hours which still is in force after a lapse of two years.
He said the issues related to Dogra Certificates, West Pakistan Refugees and the Refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 yet have been dropped by the BJP leadership.
