NC openly supports separatists

Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 6: Finally, the National Conference is openly supporting the separatist leaders, a development which has exposed NC's "hidden love" for the pro-Pakistan elements in the state.
The party spokesman is openly speaking in favour of separatists and is using social media as a tool to spread his party's love for "pro-freedom groups."
From Hurriyat-M Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, the National Conference is expressing its "love to the fullest for the anti-India sentiment." Sources said police is keeping track of "controversial" statements issued by NC.
For the past few days, since government intensified crackdown on pro-freedom leaders in the wake of apprehensions of agitation, the NC has been crying over the police action against Hurriyat leaders. "Crackdown on Hurriyat leaders has exposed PDP. Assault on their family members unacceptable - NC Leaders," the party posted on its official Twitter handle.
As if this was not enough, the NC spokesman has been posting a series of Tweets only in favour of the separatists. The NC has been openly spreading the message among the people that the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had threatened Yasin Malik to keep quiet or bear consequences. "Mehbooba Ji had been sending messages/subtle indirect threats to Yasin Malik lately. When all failed, she ordered an assault on his family," the NC spokesman alleged on the Twitter.
This was followed by another venomous Tweet. "Now Mehbooba orders the arrest of Yasin Malik for organising a Jalsa in 1987 for the MUF - a 29 yr old case! "Battle of Ideas", Part 2," the spokesman posted.
After Yasin Malik, it was time for NC to support Mirwaiz. Today Mirwaiz Umar posted a controversial comment: "After caging all the pro freedom leadership in the name of 'peace' PDP-BJP Govt of Mehbooba Mufti now trying to gag Media as well. What a shame!"
The spokesman not only retweeted the post but added more fuel to the fire saying "Exactly. Her subtle threat to the media - fall in line or else... 'Battle of Ideas' taken to a new level."
Many of the netizens posted that the NC spokesman was behaving like a Jehadi and needs to be tamed by the government. "The NC spokesman should be jailed for his support for the separatist sentiment," posted a Twitter handler adding "such elements are not happy with the government which is religiously loyal to New Delhi."
While the NC has long been accused of harboring separatist sentiment, this love is getting vindicated on social media. "Everything is getting exposed online, and this all is getting recorded for a strong case," said a well-wisher of the PDP-led government.
He said the reason of NC's hatred towards PDP was the latter was loyal to New Delhi. Referring to the memoir by former RAW chief AS Dulat wherein he said that Abdullah's were doubtful for their loyalty towards India, the PDP man said: "Even Dulat Sahib authenticated that our party is truly Indian and this is what the separatists and NC won't like."
Observers said through anti government statements the NC is trying rediscover its love for Pakistan.
